Who are we?

Hello, my name is Ben Gillespie.  

I am a songwriter, producer, engineer and performer.

I started writing in 5th grade and eventually wanted to record my tunes. That was many years ago.

Starting with a 2 track reel-to-reel, I went to 4 tracks on a Tascam Porta-Studio, then a Fostex 8-track ADAT, then 16 track digital then finally Avid Pro Tools.

While I have sold retail music/recording equipment, I have also performed professionally and mixed front-of-house. I attended Yamaha Digital Instrument corporate training among other manufacturers. I am very familiar with MIDI and the digital realm.

I exhausted music theory and composition studies at the University of Alaska, Anchorage campus and composed and arranged for the performing University of Alaska Big Band.

I have been a charter member of various songwriting associations and besides my own material, have recorded, mixed, and produced many artists to help them achieve their artistic vision.
